A DRIVE BY FOOD COLLECTION was conducted by the Upper Sandusky DeMolay Chapter and Squires Manor to benefit the local food pantries on Friday and Saturday, May 15 & 16.
Thanks to the generosity of the Upper Sandusky community, a full truck load of food and supplies was collected and $1005.00 was received to be channeled to local residents through the Open Door Resource Center.
The local DeMolay Chapter for ages 12 – 21 has been a part of the Upper Sandusky community for over fifty years. More recently, a Squires Manor for boy 9 – 11 has been added to the program. DeMolay and Squires are sponsored by the local Masonic Center. Their goals include: developing young men into better leaders of character, teaching them to live their lives by seven core values, providing young men with quality guidance and mentorship, and allowing young men to control and shape their DeMolay and Squires experience. .
